Sandrich™is comprised of both existing, and specifically designed chemical and aggregate products which combine to become a seamless, virtually height-less and weight-less, fully adhered deck system.
Sandrich™can be applied to virtually any substrate, including concrete and asphalt surfaces such as parking areas and terraces, in addition to decks made from metal, wood or tile. The truly special qualities are that it adheres to flat roofs made from foam, EPDM, APP, and multi-ply systems.
Decorative and waterproofing applications on balconies, rooftops, pool decks, parking areas, wooden decks, etc. Applied directly over ceramic tile, it creates an attractive, non-skid surface, even when wet.
Decorative overlay waterproofing products currently available are mostly cementitious in nature. They can only be used on grade level concrete. Such methods are not waterproof, nor are they flexible enough to be taken to roof decks, balconies etc. The products typically used are tile, concrete pavers, or rubber composites. These materials are either very heavy, create too much height for surrounding parapet walls, doorways, etc., and are neither waterproof, flexible, nor fully adhered. This creates roof problems, water issues, heat buildup, code violations, engineering problems etc..
