Product Description : Sandrich™is a decorative, waterproof, protective, tough, flexible stone deck surface, that adheres to virtually any substrate.

Adheres To : Sandrich™can be applied to virtually any substrate, including concrete and asphalt surfaces such as parking areas and terraces, in addition to decks made from metal, wood or tile. The truly special qualities are that it adheres to flat roofs made from foam, EPDM, APP, and multi-ply systems.

Uses: Decorative and waterproofing applications on balconies, rooftops, pool decks, parking areas, wooden decks, etc. Applied directly over ceramic tile, it creates an attractive, non-skid surface, even when wet.

Unique Qualities /Problems Solved: Decorative overlay waterproofing products currently available are mostly cementitious in nature. They can only be used on grade level concrete. Such methods are not waterproof, nor are they flexible enough to be taken to roof decks, balconies etc. The products typically used are tile, concrete pavers, or rubber composites. These materials are either very heavy, create too much height for surrounding parapet walls, doorways, etc., and are neither waterproof, flexible, nor fully adhered. This creates roof problems, water issues, heat buildup, code violations, engineering problems etc..

Environmentally Responsible: Sandrich™encapsulates asbestos, protects the existing roof or deck against damage and wear, saves energy, andincreases the fireproof qualities of the roof. Properly maintained, it never needs to be removed, and insures the building will never have to apply another roof.

Sandrich™is environmentally safe. It applies over existing materials, eliminating the need to remove and discard such debris, therefor keeping millions of pounds of hazardous debris out of landfills. Use SandrichTM to convert existing roofs into “cool decks” which are becoming todays nationwide energy standard.

SandrichTM exhibits excellent adhesion to metals, PVC, concrete, wood, plastics, & other flexible or rigid materials.

SandrichTM is extremely resistant to the effects of UV exposure, maintaining virtually original finish. After long-term weathering, it has proven flexibility and tolerance to expansion & contraction, providing a completely stable surface. It is desirable in harsh environments where abrasion, impact, vibration, flexing and corrosion are factors.

SandrichTM has been tested to prove excellent short-term resistance to alcohols, acids, alkalies, solvents, fuels, and temperatures to 275ºF, and long-term resistance to hydraulic, lubricating & cutting oils, petro-chemicals, food stains, salts, paints, inks, asphalt, wet concrete, algae, pesticides, fertilizers, creosote, etc.

SandrichTM exhibits excellent durability and high resistance to impact, cracking, chalking, ponding water, yellowing, abrasion, normal wear & tear, and weathering in general.
